How to Play, Complete Introduction.
Players start off with an already built castle with a measly wall, a small amount of fortune to get things going, and some empty plots to build defense structures and resource generating spots. The gameplay is pretty straightforward; gather resources to be used as materials to make other structures, upgrade said structures, train and rally troops to besiege other kingdoms and defend your own, gather, upgrade, train, defend, expand, repeat. The game functions and controls are easy to pick-up and the tutorial is easy enough. (It took me a while to notice that I was already out of the tutorial and what seems to be the tasks given are just suggested tips on what to do next.)
Kingdom
Clash of Kings also has a PvP feature wherein warring kingdoms can wage battles against each other in real-time. Players also have the option to seek out allies among the other players to be able to gain advantage against an enemy kingdom. Alliances can either focus on territorial domination or just waging wars with their enemies for competition or fun.

As with any other time-gated games, players have to wait for the upgrades to finish before starting with a new one or they have the option to spend on temporary boosts with real cash. As a beginner, you can only do one upgrade at a time and by spending premium credits, you can raise it to two or more. The premium credits tend to be a bit more expensive as compared to the other games’ when factoring in how much it costs and how much boost it will give with the gameplay. It’s free-to-play game that would easily turn into a pay-to-win one.
Troops
The thing with Clash of Kings is that it doesn’t have any other feature that sets it out among the other empire-building strategy games that are also in the same market. With so many similar games just with different name iterations, I still had to check if I was playing the correct game or not. It’s basically a re-wrap of the game next page. It does have several comprehensive tech trees for the different aspects of your kingdom which is nice. And if you are a fan of field battles, you may fancy the bird’s-eye-view of a scene of an ongoing battle.
Clash of Kings is recommended for those who like building and managing empires and bases and those who take advantage of the time-gate by playing similar games simultaneously. Not really for people who like fast-paced action and for those who do not like waiting. Clash of Kings is one structured strategy game but it lacks feature that would define it different from the rest of the games in the same genre. Here I am going to tell you very important Tips, if you follow my instruction you can built fast your Castle, Army and Alliance. and be Powerful in Game.
Gold Farming.
Slow, But Effective. Even More Effective if you have a Bigger Army and Higher Legion. Ok I know I don't have a say about internal politics when I'm just a normal civilian but here's a scenario. Let's say ur on a business trip, and you can't log into the game that often other than collecting daily rewards. Clash of Kings (aka Cok) is pretty much a game of burning your spare time, which is to a matter of fact very hard to stay 24/7 and wait for Harvest or your troop reinforce. If you have a bigger army and higher legion level You can afford occupying more Gold Farms. Here's a tip on finding better Farms on your kingdom Go to Maps then view the resources zone.

Feel like gambling? Risky but it'll hell pack a fortune to your wallet if you score Jackpot. Aint kidding but I've seen people spent 3 dragon coins and won 20000 Golds (1*10 on next reward + a 1K Gold*2) Nothing much to talk about this, you just have to be very lucky.
Participate in Social Events.
Rating out of 10, I'd say this one's @ 8. If you've gone this far, it means to a certain extent you have a solid foundation and interest towards the game so why not pause a bit and express your love towards the developers by hitting a "Like" on their Facebook Page? Ok sounds like some advertising going around but not really, I missed out a way if u bind your account to it it'll earn you 100 Golds instantly. Binding your account ensures your data to not get lost yes it's true especially on Facebook. Let's say you lost your device, you can still access Clash of Kings there on your computer so you won't completely become...hopeless.
Ok, Enough Bluffs here's the main thing. Why would I urge you to like the page? Firstly, Clash of Kings is a game of sociality. You interact with your alliance members, you donate resources to help your friends that'a what make this game so different from others, unlike other applications (Not being Sarcastic) where you spend real money just for the sake of yourself, you can gift gifts here.

I've been getting so many, yes for the love of God many requests on how to get more Food, Woods and Resources etc......Well here u go hungry chaps here's your guide you've been waiting for.
Scenario:Level 14 to Level 15 Castle Super High Resources Demand.
Throughout the times players will definitely (Inevitably if you continue playing) come to a time he or she unlock the gate to the 4th Ore, the Mythril Age. It's exclusive only to players with a castle level 15 and above. Getting to the level 15 castle may become a very harsh workout for players who are currently in level 14. You firstly have to upgrade your wall to level 14 which requires 2.5 Million Woods and Food while the requirements for the castle upgrade is almost...Twice, now this may seem a lot but trust me, I'm gonna proof to you that it's totally child's play.
Way of Resources Preservation.
The world is cruel and so is your kingdom, you have to bear the odds of being attacked but at the same time preserve your resources. This is what you should do Keep Fighting!It doesn't have to be an invasion when you're kind-hearted I'm talking about Fighting Monsters. Assuming you have a decently big Army, your hourly unkeep would be very high that when you leave your phone aside overnight your food count will plummet down to 0. That's why you must always have Stock-Piled Food in your inventory, they never go away. Defeating Monsters will Definitely award you Stock-Piled Food (monsters @ level 10+ drops a significant amount of x15+ 1K Food and Wood). Save them until you think you have enough for upgrade. Here's a little wishing well trick. Everyday you get free wishes. Unless you want to increase your army size, never Wish for food, but instead wish for woods. There is no hourly unkeep for woods so if you wish for food for nothing, you're just wasting your wish quotas for nothing but in vain.

Finally the Alliance Fort Thank God after walls of texts. Yes the Alliance Fort will increase your Resources Production Rate, but in what way? Again since it's an alliance it's all about team works. After you've constructed the Alliance Fort it'll give-off a buff within it's range as shown.
Construct Alliance Farm*What's better if You have an (Almost) everlasting Farm right beside your castle? The Alliance Farm Holds half a billion resources vary of wood, Food, Iron and Mithril. It Provides More Resources than other Plots you can find in the world so basically if you keep on farming it you should be able to gather resources efficiently. @600K per Farm with Maximum T5 troops on level 15 drill ground. Gather Bonus works on all farms including the Alliance Farm. Make good use of them You can always use the Unkeep Reduction if you ever have one to ease your hourly unkeep, they can be purchased with golds in store you did it!
